2020 Tax Preparation Rates
Our rates have changed in order to facilitate having more of our clients visit us as
early as possible. It's to your benefit as well as ours.
January/February: $250.00
First two weeks of March: $300.00
Second two weeks of March: $350.00
After March (and Balance of year): $400.00
Rates includes preparation of your Federal and ONE State return
and eFiling charges.
Additional States Preparation/eFiling: $40.00 Each
If Additional Time is Required, Time will be Charged
$260.00 for each Additional Hour in 15 minute Increments.
(Typically, in the past, 95% of our client returns were completed within 1-1½ hours, the approximate time we allocate for a standard appointment. Due to Affordable Care Act changes affecting tax returns for (tax year) 2014 and beyond we may exceed our standard appointment time.)
Single Member LLC
$250.00 per return. This is in ADDITION to the above rates for standard return.
Amended Returns
$260.00 per hour
Partnership & Corporate Rates
including Estates and Trusts
February: $750.00
March: $750.00
After March: $750.00
Rate is for 1½ hour session and, if a partnership return, includes up to 2 partners.
Additional Partners are $30.00 per partner.
NOTES:
If you live out of town, or would like your return mailed to you, we must charge you an additional $10.00 fee. We use Priority Mail both for speed of delivery and your protection.
We will provide you with a printed and signed copy of your return on paper. IF you would like a pdf (electronic) copy of your return we will be happy to provide that for an additional $10.00 which includes an 8 Gig. flashdrive.
If you decide after your session is over that you need an electronic copy we must charge $25. It will be sent to you by encrypted email.
